Papel natin at ng gobyerno

May nakasabay ako sa jeep na isang batang mag-aaral. Ingat na ingat niyang tangan ang dalawang piraso ng bond paper na nakasilid pa sa plastik labo. Palagay ko ay binili niya ito ng tingi sa palengke sa bayan at malamang para ito sa isang rekisito sa klase. Napaisip tuloy ako kung gaano niya kaingat itong gagamitin para huwag magkamali at hindi maaksaya. Nakakalungkot dahil laganap ito sa maraming mag-aaral sa mga pampublikong paaralan sa bansa. Dalawang aral mula sa tagpong ito - Huwag tayong maaksaya sa papel na kadalasan ay binabalewala lang natin (micro) at dapat isulong ang kritikal na reporma sa sistema ng pambansang pagbabadyet upang maging sustenable, etikal at demokratiko (macro).

Prepare well for the long exam about medical tourism, universal healthcare and hospital corporatization (both sections). Be ready also with your individual infographic presentations (both sections) and your health in the Third World primer (afternoon section).  If you are available the whole day,  I strongly encourage you to attend both sessions as each of them has a different set of presentation and discussion.  It will serve as a grade booster.
