Agenda (March 24)

  • DS 100 (exam by elimination on blog entries; distribution of course cards)
  • DS 112 (exam by elimination on chronic poverty and Habito materials;
    submission of random jottings; distribution of course cards)
  • DS 125 (reporting on Philippine retirement villages - Torrecampo, Torres and Yang (30 mins);
    exam by elimination on contemporary issues in international relations; distribution of course cards)
  • DS 121 (job hunting 101; distribution of course cards)


    Mechanics (exam by elimination)
    -The exam will be by way of elimination.
    -Latecomers will not be allowed to take the exam.
    -Students who will not be able to pass the first set shall not qualify to take the second set.
    -The same policy will govern the subsequent sets until the top 5 students emerge.
    -Top 5 highest scorers will get 1.0 in the final grade.
    -In order to merit 1.0 in the final grade, students must pass all the sets.
    -Each set is composed of 10 questions.
    -The passing score for each set is 5 points.
    -Bring 10 1/4 sheets of yellow pad, 2 ballpens (different ink)

    In place of an oral presentation, you're required to distribute
    hand-outs to your classmates on March 20 or 24. 1/4 sheet of 8x11 bond paper
