Development Studies

  • Development studies is a multidisciplinary social scientific study of development.
  • Specifically, its focus is on the developing countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America.
  • Areas of interest in development studies include economic development, social development, population, migration, environment and gender.
  • Universities which offer development studies include: UP Manila (BA), Ateneo de Manila (BA), DLSU-D (BA), DLSU-Manila (BA, MA, Ph.D.), UST (MA, Ph.D.).
