As a teacher of political economy, vegetable gardening as an economic and a philosophical activity brings many realizations about life cycle, interconnectedness, food system and the plight of Filipino farmers in general.  Let us not reduce ourselves to being mere industrial eaters. Kaya huwag puro consume/consumption lang!
