But it left out the reason that is subconsciously
inculcated in all Filipinos. Colonial mentality,
or basically that going abroad is the
first and best resort not the last resort.
Thinking aloud, perhaps if the option
of abroad or frankly AMERICA was
not available or dreamed to be available,
then maybe the movement for
socio-economic change would be an
acceptable option for much more Filipinos."
