Human Resource Management

  • Behavioral science (Psychology, Sociology and Anthropology)
is essential in managing human resources.
  • Organizations have formal (correspondence)
    and informal channels (peers).
  • Cyberslacking (wasting time on the Internet) is rampant in the workplace.
  • In the age modernity, gender bias is still rampant in many organizations.
  • Outsourcing does not guarantee efficiency and productivity.
  • Mistrust in the workplace can be solved in both formal and informal ways.
  • Part of some company's corporate social responsibility (CSR)
is to require or encourage its employees to participate/
    volunteer in community development endeavors.
  • Very few companies require their workforce
    to read the employee's handbook/manual.
