UP

• As real scholars, we should be be the ones
  dignifying UP, not the other way around.
• We should welcome the UP centennial
  not just with revelries and spectacles.
  Superfluous celebrations only mask the pressing
  university issues and concerns (e.g. TOFI,
  declining quality of education, apathy, corruption, etc.)
  To reiterate, extravagant celebration
  is a sign of insecurity.
