www.senate.gov.ph

I strongly recommend my students to read the news reports
posted at the Senate's official website (http://www.senate.gov.ph/).
First, it provides the readers with updates about the government's
priority legislations, including policy issues and debates.
Second, it provides a counterpoint to the administration's propaganda
since the Senate is an opposition-dominated chamber (check & balance).
Third, it provides the readers with a general (but not thorough)
perspective about the national situationer.
