• On Wall Street vs. Main Street: Doc Ed clarified that the "Wall Street" pertains to the greedy corporate oligarchs in the financial system while the "Main Street" refers to the unsuspecting public who invests their hard-earned money in stocks of big corporations.
• UP should offer a subject on Philippine Government and Constitution as part of its RGEP. Other public and private colleges and universities incorporate it in all their course curricula. It is possibly one of the reasons why many UP students have grown apathetic to local and global socio-political issues.
• For obvious reasons, GMA is not honest enough to hold her administration accountable for most of the problems that beset our people. She instead blames it to her political enemies, the communist insurgency, and the global crisis.
