Green parks

Not all urban parklands are green parks. According to Prof. Natividad Lacdan*, some urban parks have more cemented portions than plants and trees. She added that the establishment of miniforests such as Quezon Memorial Circle and Parks and Wildlife are steps toward the right direction but continuous tree planting is needed in order to transform them into good green parks.
