Feature writing

Feature Writing Tips
By Aurelio Isaac L. Doctor

.
Always do your best to write simply, so anyone can understand it.
.
Make sure your paragraphs have a clear and logical flow.
.
Research well on the topic and triangulate your sources.
.
Check your grammar.
.
Use words that really paint a picture in the readers’ minds.
.
Read and learn from the works of other authors, like Conrado de Quiros.
.
Keep in mind Senator Miriam Santiago’s words that plagiarism is punishable by death.
.
Be receptive to your professor’s/editor's criticisms and corrections.
.
As cliché as this sounds, have fun writing and you’ll have a much easier time.
