positive peace: absence of war plus an environment conducive to pursue
development through cooperation
negative peace: pertains only to absence of war

• positive vs. negative freedom

positive freedom: human's actual capacity to become or
actualize something
negative freedom: refers only to non-intervention of external forces

• economic growth vs. economic development

economic growth: quantitative increase; "pagsulong"
economic development: qualitative increase (economic growth + equity); "pag-unlad"
