REMINDERS - updated
Kindly double check if you have already completed the required units in the course for the previous semesters. Act promptly on your subjects with 4.0, 5.0, INC or DRP marks. Validate also if you have complied with the healthy mix policy regarding GEs (i.e. taking into account that you may enroll either in History 2 or History 3 but not both, and that Hum 1, Speech 11, Humanidades 1, Hum Stud 20 and Hum Stud 25 are considered equivalent subjects). Under the healthy mix policy, you should combine Math and NatSci/STS subjects, and Humanities and Communication subjects for MST and AH clusters, respectively. Ensure that you have enrolled all the remaining subjects in the DS curriculum for this upcoming semester. Apply also for TCG for further validation. Take advantage of self-advising, peer advising and faculty advising to avoid unnecessary graduation-related worries. And lastly, clarify the grade entries in your SAIS account if there are discrepancies. #nasahuliangpagsisisi

Bagong bunso
Congrats to all UPCAT qualifiers, especially to the applicants who made it to the Development Studies Program!
Be a producer also
As a teacher of political economy, vegetable gardening as an economic and a philosophical activity brings many realizations about life cycle, interconnectedness, food system and the plight of Filipino farmers in general. Let us not reduce ourselves to being mere industrial eaters. Kaya huwag puro consume/consumption lang!

Survey (Batch 6)
- "Agrarian reform, national industrialization, contractualization, deregulation/commercialization of basic social services, state terrorism, resumption of peace talks, renewable energy sources, mass transport system across LuzViMin, territorial disputes, pro-people investment in the country's natural advantages (agriculture, mining), lower income tax, genuine FOI bill" - Thalia Villela, Organizational Communication student
- "West Philippine Sea issue" - Atty Archie Torres, Development Studies graduate
- "Income tax rate reduction, efficient public transportation" - Prof Josephine Forcados, Language and Literature Professor at DLS-CSB

Thank you, UP, for the academic freedom and thank you, my dear students, for tolerating my deviant/unorthodox approaches to learning!
